2025 Heavy Metal Rules

With 10 or more cars:

First place $2500
Second place $1000
Third place $500

25 or more cars $5000 $2000 $750

Less than 10 cars will default to 100% payback.

All drivers must wear long sleeves, a helmet, pants and closed toed shoes to compete. Also must use a lap belt only in the car. Eye protection is mandatory.

Trophies will 5ft 4ft and 3ft

Ethics clause:

Loudmouth Promotions will always uphold confidentiality between driver and promotor when regarding rule questions, registrations and all other build procedures. We understand what it is to build at this level and we will not gossip with other drivers in a distasteful manner. We feel this bias harms the sport and can put drivers at a disadvantage.

Strongarm clause:

Loudmouth Promotions will NOT be strongarmed or influenced by any driver on rules, regulations, entry fees or anything of the like. ALL drivers will conform to ALL rules at ALL times or you be disqualified from the event regardless of “status”, experience or credibility.

Behavior clause:

Drivers and their crews will demonstrate a respectful behavior toward all Loudmouth officials, and all other drivers, at all times. There will be zero tolerance for profanity, fighting, destruction of property or any other destructive behavior at any Loudmouth events. If you fail to demonstrate respectful behavior at our shows you will be asked to leave and will be banned from future Loudmouth events. This is a rule like all others and MUST be followed!!

Hit clock will be 30 seconds

Sandbagging clause:

Sandbagging will NOT be tolerated! You will be allowed to drive, but you will not camp in the corner and win this show! This is a rule like every rule and must be followed!

NO passengers will be allowed at this event.

Team driving will not be tolerated. If we see team driving we will break it up.

Cars may not be decorated with profanity or hate speech. Have your number on your door or roof sign highly visible so we can distinguish drivers.

No loaded frames, no welding of frame holes shut

Full cradle and trans braces allowed

Aftermarket spindles and steering components are ok

The only sheet metal repair allowed will be to the door area, doors may be reskinned no more than 3” past the vertical seams, no more than 1” past the bottom seams

Aftermarket components, pedals and shifters are ok

Any bumper allowed, factory, replica, or homemade. Can not be larger than 8" tall and Points can be no larger than 14" must be spread across 32"

May have (1) 3/8's plate on 1 side of the front horn from bumper to the a arm

No kickers to the back side of a arm allowed, unless you run a lower engine cradle that does not connect to the mid plate. Then you may have (2) 2”x2” kickers from the dash bar to the back side of the arm.

Rear bumper bracket must be 12" from the hump plate unless it is a factory bumper bracket. Rear bumper bracket may not be more than 14” where it attaches to frame. Hump plates may not exceed 32” long.

You be allowed (10) 6”x6”x1/4” max total, they have to stay one piece, no manipulating them to cover more area.

Cage side bars must be 2” off the floor, cages must be contained between the front firewall and rear firewall.  Back window bars are ok. They must land within 12” of the front seam of the trunk.

Dash bar may touch mid plate or distributor protector

Dp kickers are allowed, this will not count toward your frame plates. They must remain between the dash bar and dp.

Gas tank protectors may be tight to the rear package tray, no wider than 32"

4 down bars total, no larger than 6", these must run strait up and down and must be located between the dash bar and the rear bar of the gas tank protector.
